Creative New Zealand is this country’s leading arts development organisation. It supports professional arts organisations on an annual or three-year basis and offers grants to one-off arts projects as well as a range of contestable funding programmes.

Canterbury Community Trust
The Canterbury Community Trust was established in 1988 as a charitable trust, with the purpose of providing charitable, cultural, philanthropic and recreational benefits to the community. Air Rescue and Community Services
Air Rescue Services Ltd began operating in 2003 at two venues in Christchurch with a total of 36 gaming machines. It now operates a total of 433 machines at 29 venues throughout Canterbury, the West Coast, Otago and Marlborough. Net proceeds from the operation of gaming machines at Air Rescue Services Ltd’s member venues are returned in the form of grants to charitable and community organisations in the Canterbury, West Coast and Marlborough regions. The company’s primary funding objective is to support rescue helicopter services in the Canterbury, West Coast and Marlborough regions.
Throughout its 20-year history, Pub Charity has raised, through the support of Pub Charity venues, more than $350 million in donations for a wide range of community organisations including community groups, sports clubs and organisations, cultural groups, emergency services, youth and education, and health.
