Become a Theatre Ambassador

Secondary Schools | Two senior students per school per year

In 2004 The Court Theatre launched an innovative programme which offers Secondary School students the opportunity to become a Theatre Ambassador. Each year two Ambassadors per school are selected to strengthen and advance the existing links between The Court Theatre and their home school.

Ambassadors attend all Court Theatre productions free of charge and may bring their friends and school peers with them at specially discounted prices. By way of workshops, rehearsals, previews and specialist seminars they are exposed to the professionals who work at The Court Theatre and get behind the scenes of a professional theatre company. Trips and visits to affiliated organisations may also take place.

All local schools are encouraged to recommend up to two senior students to act as Ambassadors for their school by the end of Term 4. Ambassadors are welcomed into the programme, given their Ambassador Card and attend their first workshop near the beginning of the following scholastic year.
