2012 Class Details

Junior drama (7-9 years): Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm
Intermediate drama (10-12 years): Tuesdays 4:30-6pm
Senior Theatre Training (13-15 years): Wednesdays 5:30-7pm
Senior Spontaneity (13-15 years): Thursdays 4:30-6pm
Advanced Senior Theatre Training (16-18 years): Mondays 6-7:30pm
Advanced Senior Spontaneity (16-18 years): Mondays 4:30-6pm
Theatre Works (18-25 years): Thursdays 7-9pm

Solo Classes (all ages): Available Fridays between 4:30-7pm (to suit)

Improv Intro Part 1/2 (all ages): Mondays 7:30-9pm
Improv Performance (all ages): Fridays 7:30-9pm

Enrolment

Entry to most Court Theatre Education classes (excluding Improv and Solo classes) is by audition.

The following are available audition dates for entry to 2012 Term One classes: Monday 23 January 3-5pm; and Friday 27 January, 3-5pm. Please contact education@courttheatre.org.nz to arrange a 5 minute audition time during one of these sessions. (You will be required 10min before your audition time, but may leave immediately afterwards).

All places will be notified at the latest by 1 February.

Saturday 11 February may be available as an audition slot for late enrolments, if places are still available.

Successful auditionees will be awarded a place until year end. Mid-year enrolments, when places are avaiable, are permitted in all classes except Theatre Works. These will also be determined by audition.

A waiting-list system runs for all classes.

We can also organise workshops for any and all skill levels (from Kindergarten to tertiary, as well as our business training workshops) using professional actors, technicians, designers and other creative staff. Either our tutors will come to you or come to use the facilities offered by The Court Theatre (subject to availability). Contact us to discuss your requirements.
